This boot is a waterproof boot which has a waxed finish to the leather which may give the impression of a worn or vintage style effect. This is not the case as the leather is naturally distressed and the superficial markings on the leather are nothing more than cosmetic and will not affect the waterproofing or general performance of the boots.
